I proposed to Emily on December 5th, 2009. She was up all night studying for a final and after she took the final we went out to dinner at Outback. Emily was about to pass out from exhaustion because she was so tired, but I insisted we go get dessert at our dessert spot that we've been going to since we were sophomores. She told me she didn't want anything, but I told her I wanted to order something just to get her to go in. Her expression when I proposed isn't huge, but she was falling asleep at dinner so what can you expect? (she did get teary eyed though). Anyways, here it is and I hope you like it!

First Post!
This is our very first post, so just in case you didn't know, here is the story of how we met.
We met during our freshman year (Winter 2006) in the dorms (Encinitas) at Cal Poly Pomona. Bryan lived on the 3rd floor and Emily lived on the 2nd floor of the dorm building. Bryan remembers seeing Emily a few times during their first quarter (Fall 2005), as she would pass by his room to hang out with the guys down the hall. However, 2006 was a new year and we ended up having a sociology class together. After the first class session, Bryan was walking back to the dorms talking to one of his friends and noticed that this gorgeous girl who was in his class was walking in front of him this whole time, all the way back to Encinitas. As she put her key into the door to get in, Bryan asked her if she had just come back from sociology class and wanted to see if she wanted to do homework or study with him some time. Emily kindly obliged and about a week later they met up to do homework together and ending up talking to each other until about 5:00am the next morning, and they only had homework that took them about 30 minutes. It was that night that they both knew that there was potential for a great thing to come. Emily shared so many things about herself that she would never have told just any guy so quickly. Bryan LOVED everything about this girl. He even jokingly proposed to her that night because everything she was saying was perfect. Neither of them were looking to get into a relationship any time soon but as they say…..this sort of thing happens when you least expect it! A few months later, after a concert, a few dates, and the weekly Thursday night hang out, our relationship became official on March 17, 2006!
